UFC fighter goes naked to cover ESPN's body issue (+18)

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor goes nude for the cover of the 2016 edition of ESPN Magazine's Body Issue.

McGregor, MMA's sole representative, joins Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller, US women's football star Christen Press and Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade in this year's issue.

He follows in the footsteps of fellow UFC stars Ronda Rousey and Meisha Tate who have both appeared in the hugely popular annual edition in recent years.

McGregor, who is gearing up for his rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202 in August, looks in supreme physical condition, posing for a number of tactically positioned photos for the magazine which will be available from July 8.

Conor sat down with ESPN's Kenny Mayne to discuss all things fighting, including the rumored super-fight with Floyd Mayweather.

'If I only had to focus on boxing, hell, I'd be neck and neck with Floyd right now,' he said. 'There are so many spinning plates in this game (MMA). If I was to put all of them down and have one boxing plate spinning, it would be like a load off my shoulders.'

A potential showdown with Mayweather will have to wait for now with McGregor less than two months away from attempting to avenge his devastating submission loss to Diaz at UFC 196.
