But one lucky buyer just purchased the property for the knock-off price of $17.5 million, after it was put on the market back in June last year.

The home has a resort-style infinity swimming pool, a lighted tennis court, a fully equipped gym, a spa, a theater, a hobby house, gardens, a caretakers suite and an underground ballroom.

It also includes its own generator, guard house, presidential-level security, access to the
Chattahoochee River and two gated residential entrances.

The 34,688 sq. foot mansion is set on a 17 acre estate  and is the most expensive home to go on the market in the state, according to Atlanta Fine Homes, who made the sale.

According to Sotheby's,  the previous highest sale in Atlanta’s history was a Buckhead estate that sold for $10.5 million in 2009.

Perry - who used to be homeless - still owns several other properties throughout the country, and is known to entertain guests such as Barack Obama and Oprah.
