Selena Gomez Quitting Music After Success Of ‘Revival’

Selena Gomez, 23, has reportedly had enough of the cattiness the entertainment industry has to offer. In fact, a source claims that the 23-year-old is planning on making Revival her last album because she doesn’t want to make music anymore! What?!

As happy as Selena is about the success of her latest album, Ok!magazine claims that the songstress is definitely feeling different behind closed doors. “Underneath her spirited facade, Selena is a mess,” the source told the magazine. “She cries all the time thinking about all the hypocrisy and backstabbing that comes with the entertainment industry. This album will be her last.” The report continues to say that the 23-year-old only made Revival because she was reportedly under contract to do one more. Just one month ago, Selena was gushing about how excited she was for fans to hear her new music.

The songstress compared waiting for the release of Revival to being pregnant! “I feel like I’m a pregnant woman at nine months,” Selena told E! News while promoting Hotel Transylvania 2 in Sept. “And I just want the baby to come out already because it means the world to me, and it’s so great for me to actually be heard.” That doesn’t sound like someone who’s ready to quit making music. The singer even told a fan that she’s “beyond grateful” for being able to get to where she is in life!

Not too long after Revival‘s release, a secret duet titled “Strong” sung by Justin Bieber, 21, and Selena dropped. The leak wasn’t exactly a coincidence. “They were all well aware at the time of recording that if they did do a duet, chances are it would be picked up in some way or another,” an insider told Gistforu.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They also knew they were both going to be releasing albums in 2015, so a duet with each other would help them get more exposure if it was leaked at around the time of both of their releases.” If Selena stopped making music, she wouldn’t be able to collaborate with other incredible and talented artists anymore!
