The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) are not dead set on enforcing speed limiting devices on motorists and warn that defaulters will be strongly dealt with.
This follows the suspension of the embargo on the
enforcement of the device in commercial vehicles and trucks by the National
Assembly.
The Corps Marshall, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, told journalists
in Abuja that the federal lawmakers lifted the suspension of the programme last
Thursday.
He added that a new date for the enforcement of the
policy would be announced shortly.
