The retired footballer hosted a summer launch party for celebrity guests at his Worsley, Manchester restaurant, George's.
It did look like the split was taking its toll, even so, and the 42-year-old hid behind large sunglasses with an unshaven, silver-flecked beard giving him more of a rugged appearance.
While Ryan wasn't with his estranged wife Stacey, he was accompanied by old school friend and business partner, Kelvin Gregory.
The duo, along with third owner Bernie Taylor, are said to dine at the swanky Barton Road eaterie once a week to oversea the operation.
The party was attended by the woman at the center of the Vernon Kay cheating saga, Rhian Sugden, who put on a defiant, amorous display with fiance Oliver Mellor.
The summer bash obviously wasn't going to be held up by claims that Ryan has finally split from his long-suffering wife Stacey.
His marriage is said to have broken down when he was caught flirting with other women, which comes fives years after his highly-publicized affairs with Imogen Thomas and his sister-in-law Natasha Giggs, were revealed in 2011.
The couple have two children together after nine years of marriage and are said to have managed to work through their issues until just three months ago, when Stacey discovered that he had been flirting with waitresses in a restaurant near their Greater Manchester home.
To add salt to the wound, television personality Katie Price this week claimed that she too was the recipient of the footballer's attention during his relationship with Stacey.
The glamour model described the former Manchester United player as 'charming' and 'intense' when she recalled their encounter on Loose Women on Tuesday.
She said: 'Years ago I met Ryan, and I felt like he was flirting with me. But it was a different kind of flirting, he was very quiet, charming, but intense.'
