The Walin Sokoto, Hamzat Ahmadu, who died at the age of 92 - at a private hospital in Lagos on Sunday, has been laid to rest. While alive, he served as Personal Secretary to two Nigerian military leaders: Aguiyi Ironsi & Yakubu Gowon and was also once Nigeria’s Ambassador to United States of America, Germany and France.
His Funeral Prayers were held today in Gwadabawa Local Government Area, Sokoto State.
