Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have hopped the pond. The duo and kids Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7, settled into an eight-bedroom, $21,000-a-month rental at the end of February, a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
They’ll stay at the “beautiful, White House–style home,” for at least six months, says the insider, while Pitt, 52, films 2017’s World War Z 2 and the Goodwill Ambassador, 40, focuses on political projects.
Nestled on the River Thames in the London suburb Surrey, the mansion, which boasts an indoor pool and gym, is just 40 minutes from pal George Clooney’s pad.
The clan has been exploring its new stomping grounds too. On March 5, Pitt took the twins to a pottery studio. A week earlier, Jolie Pitt and the younger kids visited Hamleys toy store. Adds the source, “She bought them presents for their new playroom!”
The famous family has moved around quite a bit over the years. Jolie Pitt has described her brood’s life as “nomadic.”
“I don’t want this lifestyle to ever be something they don’t want,” she told The Guardian in November. "I don’t want them to feel they don’t want to do that one more trip, or that they can’t handle one more film abroad. So we’ll have to gauge it, make some adjustments."
